This week we get to know Anthony Hubbard. Tony Hubbard has been a member of the club for around 4 years now. He grew up in Boston, England with his family. He enjoys the social atmosphere and super course that Settlers Run is.
What is your favourite food? A sirloin steak (with fat)

What is your favourite hobby? Golf
If you had 1 million dollars, what would you do first? Buy a property
What was your first job? Poultry Farming
Tell us something about yourself that most people wouldn't know? As a pass time in the 80's i ran a mobile disco.
Golf Victoria Pennant
Play off between Brent Thomas of Settlers Run and "Chappelli" from Whittlesea this Sunday 19th May, at La Trobe. Sudden death play off starts at 9.30am. All the best of luck to Brent and a win will see the team stay in Division 5 for next year.
Masters Pennant
PDGA Masters Inter-Club Pennant, Round 6
The Settlers Run Blue team played in the Masters Pennant semi-final last Friday. The team played against Devilbend white team at Beaconhills Golf Course. All of the team played well on a tough course. The final score resulting in a lose for Settlers Run 4/3.

Roast Buffet - Sunday 2nd June
With the cooler weather coming along, lets us warm you up with our famous Sunday Roast Buffet. To avoid disappointment, make a booking in advance through the Bar / Bistro on 03 9785 6072 .
The Buffet is available the first Sunday of the months of May, June, July, August and September.

Car Park Closure
Please note that on Monday 6th May 2013, the gravel car park at the end of Espie Court, immediately across from the Club House on the South side has been closed off as a construction zone for the installation of civil drainage works. Once the immediate drainage works are completed the fence will remain in site for the next stage of this development, however the club has made a request to the contractors to allow access to Espie Court as soon as possible which we have been informed is approximately 1-2 weeks. For any further clarification on the works and time frame please contact Body Corporate for full details.
Rabbit Shooting
Please note that the club have contracted out the rabbit shooting program which are scheduled for the following dates: Monday 13th May, Monday 27th May and Monday 17th June. This will result in the course being closed from 2.30pm onwards.
